Black Massillon Now, is a series of images commissioned by the Massillon Museum for the ongoing project and exhibition Missing History of Massillon: Unheard African American Stories. Actively documenting the present is equally as important as preserving elements of the past. Here you see photographs of residents of different generations who share a pride in community and whose stories reflect the city of Massillon’s past, present and future. The immersive photo murals add dimension to convey a sense of place.
